What better way to spend the Wednesday of March Break? Join TRACKS staff, volunteers and guests for an outdoor-based program onWednesday, March 18th, 9am-3pm
As per usual, we will be exploring the environment from a number of perspectives, including Western scientific disciplines and traditional/contemporary Indigenous knowledge systems, to redefine how we consider science and the natural world!
Based out of the tipi, we’ll embark on a TRACKS adventure through the woods, learning about winter’s teachings and traditions. With World Water Day right around the corner, we’ll consider Nibi in its late winter form- including its seasonal incarnation in the sugar bush. Expect lots of outdoor learning, physical activity and of course, science!
This event is open to youth ages 8-12. Participants must pack their own lunches and snacks and come dressed to be outside- we’ll be in and out of the tipi most of the day.
PREREGISTRATION IS REQUIRED. There is a cost of $20 per participant, or $15 each for siblings. Additional subsidies may be available- just ask! Inquiries are welcome and should be directed to firstname.lastname@example.org
